In 2021, VTR officially ushered in the special moment of its 30th anniversary. In 1991, in Zhuhai Special Economic Zone, VTR Enzyme Preparation Co., Ltd. (VTR’s predecessor) was established, which broke the pattern that foreign enterprises monopolized the market in the past, thus China's forage enzyme preparation industry started its development. After 30 years of leapfrog development, VTR has become the first listed enterprise in the field of biological enzyme preparation in China,and a leading enterprise in the field of “antimicrobial-free” feed. The year 2021 is the first year of China’s 14th Five-year Plan”. At a higher starting point, VTR, as a leading biotechnology enterprise in the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area, will continue to carry out biotechnology innovation. Based on the fields of biological enzyme preparation,animal nutrition and health, VTR will launch more forward-looking products in combination with policies, industry development trends, etc., so as to meet the needs of the industry with excellent products and services and make unremitting efforts to build a green and healthy life for mankind!

In 1991, VTR was founded, marking the beginning of China’s feed enzyme preparation industry.

In 1997, the first phase of VTR’s production base in Zhuhai was completed.

In 1998, VTR was recognized as a high-tech enterprise in Guangdong Province.

In 1999, VTR donated funds to set up VTR Education Fund in China Agricultural University and many other universities.

In 2001, VTR completed its share restructuring, which laid the foundation for stepping into the capital market.

In 2003, VTR established China’s first provincial engineering center for feed additives; and the General Rules for Feed Enzyme Preparations drafted by VTR was promulgated and implemented by the Ministry of Agriculture.

In 2005, VTR was rated as one of the “Top 30 National Feed Enterprises”.

In 2008, VTR was recognized as one of the first national high-tech enterprises in the industry.

In 2014, VTR was listed in Shenzhen Stock Exchange, becoming the first listed company in China’s biological enzyme preparation industry; and acquired Hunan Hongying to broaden the application field of enzyme preparation products.

In 2015, VTR Postdoctoral Research Station was approved to be established.

In 2016, the R&D and office building of VTR headquarters was completed; a new industry-university-research cooperation demonstration base was completed and put into use.

In 2017, the company launched the investment and construction of “VTR Biotechnology Industrial Park” to build a world-class industrial base.

In 2018, VTR was awarded the “National Enterprise Technology Center”; and acquired Changsha Shiwei to deploy the alternative feed antibiotics market.

In 2020, VTR launched the alternative for feed antibiotics, ushering in a new era of antibiotic-free feed; and had fought against the epidemic and ensured production to fully protect customers’ product demand.

In 2021, VTR marks its 30th anniversary and embarks on a new journey.
